Kyrgyzstan

 

There is a beautiful land in Central Asia crossed by the Tien Shan and Pamir Alay mountain systems called Kyrgyzstan and known as the land of contrasts. Officially it is Kyrgyz Republic, the sovereign democratic republic based on the principals  of legal secure state with its own territory language and constitution and population more than 6 million people. Kyrgyz is the state language and Russian is an official language used in intercultural communication.

Kyrgyzstan is very beautiful mountainous country. It borders with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China. The total area of the country is 198,500 square kilometers and 93% of the territory is covered by high mountains and the quarter of them are covered with forests. The average altitude is 2750 meters asl. Our country is known for our magnificent mountains, spectacular lakes and captivating towns and villages full of culture and history. Kyrgyzstan is small country blessed with a fantastic nature and our people use it with big respect and love. You will be able to enjoy this unique ecosystem which still has its primeval view.

Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan; it is pretty young city we celebrate its 132 anniversary. The Bishkek city is political economic and cultural centre of our country .Nowadays the population of the city is more than one million people. It is situated in central part of Chui valley in the foot of Kyrgyz range, on the altitude about 750 meters above sea level. And it's one of the greenest cities in Central Asia.

31st of August in 1991 Kyrgyzstan became an independent country. Now we celebrate our Independence Day at this date.
